Software that handles domain names with national characters

Netscape, Mozilla and Opera have created versions with built-in support for domain names with national characters.

• Netscape 7.1 or later
• Mozilla 1.4 or later
• Opera 7.20 or later
• Firefox
• Internet Explorer 7.0 or later

To upgrade Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5 or 6.0 so that it also supports domain names with national characters, you must download a plug-in called i-Nav from Verisign. Verisign has also created plug-ins for Outlook and Outlook Express so that you can send and receive email with domain names containing national characters.
