Domain registration

These pages describe how to register and follow up a .no domain.

To be able to register a domain name under .no, you must have a customer relationship to a registrar (domain name provider). You always contact the registrar when you have questions about your subscription or want to make changes related to the domain.

Organizations that wish to register a domain under .no must have a valid organization number in the Brønnøysund Register Centre (Enhetsregisteret) and a Norwegian postal address. As the applicant, you are responsible for ensuring that the domain name complies with the domain name policy for .no and does not infringe the right of others to the name. You are also responsible for further follow-up of the subscription.
