At the same time the price model will be simplified into one set price for all domain names. The subscription price will be reduced from a maximum of NOK 125 (15 Euro) to
NOK 50 (6 Euro) a year, which means a reduction of 60%. At the same time we
will replace today's price scale with a set price. - For us this is a signal that the registrar business now has reached a level of professionalism where there no longer is a need to secure the subscribers through direct contact with Norid. For the subscribers this means reduced and more predictable prices, says Department Manager in UNINETT Norid, Hilde M. Thunem. The new price model will be effective as of January 1st 2005.
