Introducing change of holder fee

Starting on 4 October, we will charge a fee to cover our processing expenses when a domain name changes holder. The fee will be introduced after the new registry system goes online.

The following sentence will be added to the fee appendix (linked from paragraph 12.1 in the domain name policy) in the paragraph concerning the registration fee:

Transferring a domain name from one holder to another consists of a deletion of the domain name immediately followed by a new registration of the name with the new holder. When a domain name changes holder, the regular registration fee is charged.
