Survey of domain name policy

Below is a short survey for ccTLD managers. The information from the survey is used to continously update the article on Domain name policy models.

ccTLD managers interested in participating in may send their answers to info@norid.no

  1. What is the name of the TLD you manage?

  2. Do you allow registrations directly under the TLD?
    1. If no: which second level domain is meant for commercial businesses (co.TLD? com.TLD? something else?) When replying to the rest of the survey, please give the answers for your policy for .co.TLD/.com.TLD instead of .TLD.

  3. Is there a limit on the number of domain names that a registrant may have under your TLD?
    1. If yes: what is the limit? Has the limit ever been changed? If so, when?
    2. If no: has there ever been a limit in the past? If so, what whas the limit, and when did you remove it?

  4. Do you require the registrant to document some kind of right to the domain name (e.g. requiring the domain to be a tradename, a trademark, the organization name etc.)?
    1. If no: did you have such a requirement in the past? And if you did, when was it removed?

  5. Do you require the registrant to be situated in the country of the TLD?
    1. If no: did you have such a requirement in the past? And if you did, when was it removed?

  6. Do you require the registrant to be a registered organization?
    1. If no: did you have such a requirement in the past? And if you did, when was it removed?
