Eirik Djønne has decided to resign from the position as chair of the ADR after 6 years of excellent work. He has invested an enormous amount of work since the establishment in 2003 and has done an outstanding job to build up this new body.

Kari Anne Lang-Ree, who has been the assistant chair until now, is elected to replace Eirik Djønne. New assistant chair will be Mathias Lilleengen. They are both lawyers with relevant background from Internet and domain related issues. Lang-Ree has experience from working in the Norwegian Post and Telelommunication Authority, responsible for domain name administration and from working with several ministries of the Norwegian Government. She was secretary for the working group responsible for a report on the administration of Norwegian domain names in 2002-2003, including the proposal of a domain resolution body. She has been chair for the Norwegian Computers and Law Association. Lilleengen works as a lawyer for The Norwegian Publishers Association. He has long experience from ADR through working with domain name conflicts for World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva.
