Norid functions as the secretariat for the committee, but make no recommendations to the complaint handling. The secretariat guides the parties in the dispute and ensures that the case documents fulfill the formal requirements.
All decisions are archived and published on Norid’s website and in Lovdata.
Ca. 60 % of the complaints are successful, while 25 % are denied. The remaining complaints are dismissed by the committee because they are insufficiently presented before the committee, or they are unsuited for the simplified process offered by the committee.
